Father in Clovis Killed in Alleged DUI Crash, Wife and Children Left Injured
Clovis, CA (June 19, 2022) – Ashton Mckiearnan (41) of Madera was identified as the fatality in an alleged DUI crash in Clovis on Sunday. According to Fresnobee, the crash reportedly happened around 7:00 pm.
A black truck crossed into the eastbound side and collided head-on with the victim’s vehicle.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported a suspected DUI collision in Clovis on Sunday.
The victim, later identified as Ashton Mckiernan, reportedly drove with his wife and two children on Ashlan Avenue near East Siverly Lane. Then, a black truck crossed into the eastbound side and collided head-on with the victim’s vehicle.
Following the collision, the victim’s wife and two children sustained moderate to major injuries. Authorities pronounced Mckiearnan dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the black truck, named Narayana Zerr, was arrested for suspected felony DUI driving and other allegations.
This incident remains under investigation.
