Auburn Boulevard Car Crash Left One Driver Dead and Another Injured in Sacramento, CA
Sacramento, CA (July 4, 2023) – One driver succumbed to fatal injuries in an Auburn Boulevard car crash in Sacramento. Another victim also sustained significant injuries. According to the Sacramento Bee, the accident occurred about 7 a.m. on Tuesday.
An Auburn Boulevard car crash left one driver dead and another severely injured on Auburn Boulevard south of Watt Avenue in north Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal Auburn Boulevard car crash involving a 2023 Toyota Camry and a Lexus RX300 SUV on Auburn Boulevard south of Watt Avenue in north Sacramento.
The accident resulted in one fatality and another injured victim.
According to authorities, a Lexus SUV was driving north on Business 80 when it went off the road and slammed into a chain link fence.
The SUV continued to move until it collided with a Toyota Camry traveling south on Auburn Boulevard.
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District paramedics responded to the scene. Unfortunately, the 37-year-old Camry driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the SUV driver was taken to a local hospital with significant injuries.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office is yet to release the identity of the fatality.
Police suspect the fatal driver was driving under the influence during the accident. He has not yet been identified.
