Napa County, CA (September 20, 2023) – Bobby Patton (67) of Winters succumbed to fatal injuries in a Napa County motorcycle crash after hitting a dump truck on State Route 128. According to The Press Democrat, police received reports about the accident around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The authorities released the identity of a man who lost his life in a Napa County motorcycle crash on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred when his three-wheeled motorcycle collided with a dump truck on a road.
According to California Highway Patrol spokesperson Gary Talaugon, the victim, Bobby Patton, 67, a resident of Winters, was operating his Tri Glide heading west on State Route 128 when he made a right turn near Wragg Canyon Road and veered into the eastbound lane.
Subsequently, a dump truck headed eastbound on the same stretch and took the curve. The trike then struck the side of an eastbound dump truck.
Unfortunately, the impact of the crash caused Patton to be ejected from his vehicle.
According to Napa County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Henry Wofford, he succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene, with his death recorded as 3:47 p.m.
Meanwhile, the occupants of the dump truck, both the driver and the passenger, emerged unharmed from this Napa County motorcycle crash.
Moreover, CHP reported that the truck moved at an estimated speed of around 45 miles per hour, but the motorcyclist’s velocity remained undisclosed.
Furthermore, it is presently unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the Pine Valley motorcycle accident. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
