Additionally, the CHP discovered a rear passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt, outside the vehicle. The preliminary probe suggests she was thrown out during the crash.
However, the driver, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered moderate injuries and was rushed to a local hospital. The front passenger also wore a seatbelt and was luckily unharmed.
