The woman was taken to a hospital due to injuries sustained in the crash. The deputy and his K-9 partner did not report any injuries.
According to Fresno Police, the deputy drove through a red light at the intersection with his sirens and lights turned on as he was responding to a call.
The crash occurred when the woman approached the intersection with a green light. The woman reportedly did not see the deputy’s lights.
