Irvine, CA (September 25, 2022) – Daniel Franco (59) of Lake Forest was identified as the fatality in a multi-vehicle crash on 5 Freeway in Irvine. According to ABC7, the crash happened around 4:00 am on Saturday.

Responding officers pronounced one victim dead at the scene. He was later identified as Daniel France of Lake Forest.
According to the Orange County Fire Authority, the accident involved two vehicles and an overturned semi-truck that caught fire. Meanwhile, two other people involved in the crash were taken to a hospital.
