24-Year-Old Deondre Hearn Identified as the Fatality in Apple Valley Crash
Apple Valley, CA (September 6, 2023) – Deondre Hearn (24) succumbed to fatal injuries in an Apple Valley crash. According to The Daily Press, the crash happened around 7:13 p.m. on September 3.
Deondre Hearn suffered fatal injuries in a traffic crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Bear Valley Road, west of Navajo Road.
The Apple Valley Sheriff’s Deputies and rescue personnel responded to an Apple Valley crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.
They found a tan Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by 61-year-old Ramon Medina of Apple Valley heading east on Bear Valley Road near Navajo Road.
Simultaneously, a green Kawasaki motorcycle driven by 24-year-old Deondre Hearn from Hesperia was moving west from Navajo Road.
Authorities stated that Ramon Medina turned left into a business center parking lot, causing the collision with Deondre Hearn.
Unfortunately, Deondre Hearn suffered severe injuries from being thrown off the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
On the other hand, Ramon Medina sustained minor injuries and received treatment at a local hospital.
Investigators concluded drugs or alcohol were not contributing factors in this accident.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Major Accident Investigative Team is conducting further examination.
