Emmanuel Elizalde Suffered Fatal Injuries in Pedestrian Accident in San Diego
San Diego, CA (July 25, 2022) – Emmanuel Elizalde (26) of San Diego was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian accident on State Route 94 in Lemon Grove in San Diego. According to Fox 5 San Diego, the accident was reported around Sunday morning.
An oncoming motorist reportedly struck Emmanuel Elizalde when they tried to avoid a parked vehicle near State Route 94 in Lemon Grove in San Diego.
Authorities responded to a fatal pedestrian accident on State Route 94 in Lemon Grove in San Diego.
The victim was later pronounced dead despite attempts of life-saving measures. The San Diego County Medical Examiner Office then identified the victim as Emmanuel Elizalde of San Diego.
According to reports, Elizalde initially parked his car between the shoulder of the highway and the first lane to the left. Then, an oncoming motorist swerved to avoid the parked car but ended up hitting Elizalde who was walking on the left shoulder of the road.
This incident remains under investigation.
