Timothy McDaniels, Quincy Lovelace, Christopher Martinez, and Celeste Gonzales Identified as Fatalities in Colusa County Wrong Way Head-On Crash
Colusa County, CA (August 22, 2022) – Timothy McDaniels (57) of Vacaville, Quincy Lovelace (28) of Suisun City, Christopher Martinez (34) of Suisun City, and Celeste Gonzales (24) of Maxwell were identified as fatalities in a head-on crash on Interstate 5 in Colusa County. According to KCRA, the crash happened at 12:48 am on Monday.
Timothy McDaniels, Quincy Lovelace, Christopher Martinez, and the driver of the wrong-way vehicle, Celeste Gonzales, were identified as fatalities in the I-5 head-on crash in Colusa County.
The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal head-on crash on Interstate 5 in Colusa County.
Four fatalities were identified following the crash. Three of them were the occupants of the other vehicle, identified as Timothy McDaniels of Vacaville, Quincy Lovelace and Christopher Martinez of Suisun City.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, identified as Celeste Gonzales of Maxwell, was taken to Enloe Medical Center but later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the surviving passenger was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center due to major injuries. He was identified as David McDaniels of Suisun City.
According to reports, Gonzales was driving northbound on a southbound Interstate 5 lane when she struck another southbound vehicle.
Interstate 5 was closed for several hours as authorities investigated the crash.
