One Woman Killed in a Highway 168 Car Crash in East Central Fresno
Fresno County, CA (September 6, 2023) – A woman succumbed to fatal injuries in a Highway 168 car crash in Fresno County. According to ABC30, the crash happened just after 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
A female driver died after being hit by another vehicle on eastbound Highway 168 near the Ashlan Avenue off-ramp.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal Highway 168 car crash involving a Dodge Charger and a Nissan Altima.
According to the authorities, the Dodge Charger’s driver lost control, striking the Nissan Altima.
As a result, both vehicles ended up stranded in the central median, with the Nissan ultimately flipping over onto its roof.
The woman in the Altima was rushed to the Community Regional Medical Center, tragically succumbing to her injuries there.
Simultaneously, the man from the Charger was also transported to CRMC, suffering from significant injuries.
The actual cause of the crash remains undetermined by authorities.
