Kasey Patrick Died in an Alta Vista DUI Crash, Driver Arrested
Nevada County, CA (April 21, 2024) – Kasey Patrick (23) of Nevada County succumbed to fatal injuries after an Alta Vista DUI crash. Police also arrested the driver for DUI. According to ABC10, the crash happened around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Kasey Patrick, a 23-year-old Nevada County resident, died after an Alta Vista DUI crash along Highway 49, north of Oak Drive, on Sunday, as confirmed by the California Highway Patrol.
Meanwhile, authorities arrested 23-year-old Nevada County resident Isabella Christmon on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to authorities, a 2016 Volkswagen Passat traveling northbound attempted to navigate a right curve on the road. However, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the right side of the highway.
The car then collided with several oak trees as it descended a steep hillside embankment, finally stopping approximately 45 feet from the road.
Unfortunately, the passenger, Kasey Patrick, succumbed to injuries at the scene.
The suspected driver also sustained significant injuries and was transported to a hospital. Isabella Christmon was subsequently arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
