Lemon Grove, CA (December 27, 2022) – Leslie Nunez Rosas (25) of El Cajon was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run crash on SR-94 in Lemon Grove. According to FOX 5 San Diego, the crash happened around 8:30 am on Friday.
A hit-and-run driver struck Leslie Nunez Rosas, which caused her vehicle to go down an embankment in Lemon Grove.
The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal hit-and-run crash on SR-94 near College Avenue in Lemon Grove.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office recently identified the victim as Leslie Nunez Rosas of El Cajon. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to authorities, a driver struck Rosas’ vehicle, which caused her to go down an embankment and hit other cars before she was ejected from her vehicle.
The driver then crashed into three parked vehicles and attempted to leave the scene. Police were able to arrest the driver after finding him walking down the street.
