Hesperia, CA (May 19, 2023) – Lisette Villasenor (36) was identified as the fatality in a car accident in Hesperia. According to the New York Post, the crash occurred around 6:30 on May 11.

Authorities responded to a car accident on Highway 395 involving a DUI driver, which left a 36-year-old driver dead and two other victims injured.
The fatality was identified as 36-year-old Lisette Villasenor.
According to the report, the DUI driver, 41-year-old Jose Vargas, was driving north on Highway 395 when he wrongly turned on the southbound lanes.
He then hit a Toyota Prius driven by Villasenor with two other young passengers.
After the crash, responders brought all victims to a trauma center.
Two passengers, identified as 12-year-old Ashley Villasenor and 6-year-old Daniel Villasenor, incurred minor to major injuries from the collision.
Unfortunately, the female driver was later pronounced dead due to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the DUI driver did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
Initially, Vargas faced charges of gross vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI.
However, an additional charge of murder was filed against them.
