Fresno County, CA (June 28, 2023) – Maria Garcia (27) was identified as the fatality in a single-car accident on W. Kearney Boulevard near Howard Avenue in Fresno County. According to The Fresno Bee, the accident occurred about 5:40 am on Monday.

According to California Highway Patrol Spokesman Mike Salas, Garcia drifted to the right shoulder and overcorrected as she attempted to return to the roadway.
This caused her to crash into a large palm tree.
