Watsonville, CA (September 23, 2022) – Marlyn Uribe (33) was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian crash at South Green Valley Road in Watsonville. According to the Santa Cruz Sentinel, the crash occurred around 8:30 pm on Thursday.

According to the police, the pedestrian incorrectly crossed four traffic lanes when a BMW struck her. The initial collision caused the BMW to crash head-on into a Ford SUV.
The BMW driver and two passengers were hospitalized for moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the Ford driver and passenger sustained minor injuries but stayed at the scene.
