Mary J Centeno Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Solimar Beach in Ventura

Ventura, CA (August 12, 2022) – Mary J Centeno (68) of Ventura was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian accident near Solimar Beach in Ventura. According to Yahoo!, the crash was reported around 9:20 am on Wednesday.

A pickup truck fatally hit local resident Mary J Centeno near Solimar Beach in Ventura.

Authorities responded to a fatal pedestrian accident involving a pickup truck near Solimar Beach in Ventura. 

According to Brian McGrath, fire captain of Ventura County Fire Department, bystanders attempted to perform life-saving measures on the pedestrian. Unfortunately, the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries. 

The Ventura County Medical Examiner’s office later identified the pedestrian as Mary J Centeno of Ventura. 

Meanwhile, the pickup truck driver remained at the scene. 

This incident remains under investigation.
