Six people, including four juveniles, sustained injuries after a Montclair pursuit crash on Sunday night when a teenager, trying to evade the police, collided with two other vehicles at Monte Vista Avenue and Kingsley Street.
The incident unfolded shortly before 8:30 p.m. when officers attempted to stop a vehicle for reckless driving, initiating a brief pursuit that lasted less than a quarter of a mile.
Unfortunately, the crash resulted in several individuals being ejected from their vehicles.
Responders then took two adults and four juveniles to local hospitals for treatment, with the extent of their injuries undisclosed.
Moreover, the suspect, 19-year-old Micah Mageno of Rancho Cucamonga, was arrested by the police and booked in the West Valley Detention Center. He faces charges of evading, causing severe bodily injury and child endangerment.
