Kearny Mesa Hit-and-Run Driver Left a Motorcyclist with Serious Injuries
San Diego, CA (January 24, 2023) – A 53-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized after sustaining serious injuries in a Kearny Mesa hit-and-run in San Diego. According to 10News, the crash occurred around 11:00 pm on Monday.
A 53-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious rib and ankle injuries after being struck in a Kearny Mesa hit-and-run in San Diego.
The San Diego Police Department responded to a Kearny Mesa hit-and-run involving a motorcyclist and an unknown driver.
Responding officers took the injured motorcyclist to a hospital due to fractured ribs and a fractured left ankle. The injuries mentioned were reportedly serious but considered non-life-threatening.
According to police, the motorcyclist proceeded into the intersection of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Kearny Villa Road on a green light. Then, a northbound vehicle struck him and fled the scene.
It is not yet determined whether the hit-and-run driver was intoxicated at the time of the crash.
The San Diego Police Department’s Traffic Division is investigating this incident.
