San Diego, CA (February 15, 2023) – Omar Alfonso Nicasio (30) of Chula Vista was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 805 in San Diego. According to FOX 5 San Diego, the crash was reported around 9:00 pm on February 3.

The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal pedestrian accident on Interstate 805 in San Diego.
Responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The victim was recently identified as Omar Alfonso Nicasio of Chula Vista.
He reportedly sustained multiple massive blunt force injuries in the crash.
According to authorities, they initially received multiple calls regarding a pedestrian walking on the southbound lanes of I-805.
A southbound Kia sedan later struck Nicasio. The driver did not sustain injuries and was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
