50-Year-Old Raquel Sigarroa Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Fresno
Fresno, CA (July 14, 2022) – Raquel Sigarroa (50) of Fresno was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian accident involving a truck in Fresno. According to The Fresno Bee, the accident happened on Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to a deadly pedestrian accident near Blackstone and Ashlan Avenue in Central Fresno. When they arrived, they pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The pedestrian was later identified as Raquel Sigarroa of Fresno.
According to Fresno Police Lt. Skye Leibee, the pedestrian was standing in the median strip and then stepped out into the road. The truck then hit the pedestrian.
Further reports said that the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Authorities are still investigating this accident.
