Oroville, CA (July 8, 2022) – Robert Danforth (37) of Oroville was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run crash in Oroville. According to Action News Now, the crash happened around 4:00 am on Tuesday.
Robert Danforth was found dead at the scene of the incident. The driver responsible for the crash is still yet to be located.
Authorities responded to calls of a pedestrian accident at the Garden Drive off-ramp in Oroville.
When they arrived, they found a deceased pedestrian on the scene. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office then identified him as Robert Danforth.
Meanwhile, the driver has not been located since the incident.
