Fresno County, CA (September 5, 2023) – Robert McGhee (58) of Santa Ana succumbed to fatal injuries in a Fresno County motorcycle crash after he crashed into a palm tree. According to the Fresno Bee, the accident occurred about 6:50 p.m. on Saturday.

On Tuesday, the Fresno County Coroner’s Office officially identified the victim as 58-year-old Robert McGhee of Santa Ana.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 6:50 p.m. on a Saturday, as McGhee was traveling eastbound along Kearney Boulevard, just east of Valentine Avenue. In a devastating turn of events, he veered off the right side of the road and collided with a palm tree.
The impact of the collision forcibly ejected McGhee from his motorcycle, prompting emergency personnel to respond swiftly. They rushed him to Community Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.
Unfortunately, McGhee succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
