South Los Angeles, CA (November 13, 2022) – Six people sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a car crash on a street carnival in South Los Angeles. According to ABC7, the crash was reported around 8:00 pm on Saturday.
A car crashed into a street carnival and struck at least six people in South Los Angeles.
Authorities took at least six people to a hospital after a car crashed into a street carnival on South Trinity Street near Martin Luther King Boulevard in South Los Angeles.
In a video obtained by Eyewitness News, people were seen running away after a car plowed through a barricade and into the street carnival. According to LAPD, the street carnival had a crowd estimate of a thousand to 2,000 people.
All six victims reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, police found the car a few blocks away from the scene. The driver responsible for the crash has been detained.
It is still not determined whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Right now, this incident remains under investigation.
