The Amador County Fire Protection District responded to an Amador County car crash involving a 2004 Honda Civic and a 2002 Toyota Tacoma in the area of Latrobe Road and Lorentz Road.
Authorities said two victims were severely injured, and one passenger had minor injuries from the crash.
According to the report, a 2004 Honda was traveling west on Latrobe Road when it veered into the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons, hitting a 2002 Toyota Tacoma.
Police initially reported that seven victims were injured in the crash. However, they later confirmed that the Honda driver was flown to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment while the passenger was taken to Kaiser in south Sacramento.
Additionally, the passenger of the Honda incurred minor injuries.
Furthermore, it is unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in this Amador County car crash.
