Yosef Cohen Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz, CA (November 3, 2022) – Yosef Cohen (28) was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian accident on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz. According to Patch, the accident happened on Thursday around 6:30 am.
Yosef Cohen was fatally struck by a vehicle on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz.
The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal pedestrian accident on Highway 1 in Aptos.
Emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures on the victim. Unfortunately, he later died at the scene. The victim was recently identified as Yosef Cohen of Santa Cruz.
According to CHP, a Honda CRV struck Cohen while he was walking in the southbound lanes near Freedom Boulevard.
The Honda driver, only identified as a 56-year-old woman from Aptos, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Right now, this incident remains under investigation.
